Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of After AI (the "Service"), a video editing service operated by After AI, the trading name of sole trader Svetoslav Halachev, based in Sofia, Bulgaria ("After AI", "afterAI", "we", "us"). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

afterAI is a digital service that turns raw video footage you supply into a finished, edited video. Editing may include AI upscaling/sharpening, color grading, subtitles, zoom and motion effects, and other post-production work, depending on the options you select at checkout. Finished videos are delivered to you electronically (by download link sent to your email).

2. Accounts

afterAI is open to everyone. You sign in using a third-party account (Google) or by email, and you are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity placed through your afterAI account. When you place an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method you choose.

3. Plans, orders & pricing

We offer single-video purchases and monthly subscription plans. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page:

• First video — $0.99 (one-time, for new customers).
• Additional single video — $2.49 each.
• Monthly — $19 / month, up to 15 finished videos per month.
• Pro — $34.99 / month, up to 30 finished videos per month, priority processing.

Subscription plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time before your next renewal; cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current period. Unused videos in a monthly plan do not roll over to the next month. Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice for future billing periods.

4. Payments & Merchant of Record

Our order process and payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), who act as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means Paddle, not afterAI, is the seller of record, and handles payment processing, billing, currency conversion, and applicable taxes. When you make a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Your payment card details are processed by Paddle and are never stored by afterAI.

5. Your content & licence to us

You retain ownership of the footage you upload and of the finished videos we deliver to you. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and edit your footage solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights to the footage you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or any law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to submit or create content that:

• is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates someone's privacy or IP rights;
• contains sexual content involving minors, or other prohibited material;
• is intended to harass, deceive, or harm others.

We may refuse, suspend, or cancel any order that violates these Terms, and may report unlawful content to the authorities.

7. Delivery

We aim to deliver finished videos within a reasonable time after your order and upload are received (Pro orders are processed first). Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. You are responsible for providing usable source footage; very low-quality, corrupted, or unusable footage may prevent us from completing your order.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that any particular creative result, view count, or commercial outcome will be achieved. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Bulgaria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
